Exousia has released three album so far, Welcome to the Kingdom of Light is the second album from this Mexican black metal band. Exousia is a band that play a tough black metal, but some people mostly define it as power metal, Yes the style seems to fit in power metal than anything else, but the vocals are very blackish shrieks, also some ballad are played, the last track is a ballad called Bebed Mi Sangre {Drink My Blood}. Female vocals are also present in this release, they are also beautiful, but they are used the least.
One day I was browsing through this band's site and downloaded some clips from this album, and I really liked them, the guitar works remained in my mind as if they were glued to my head, After acquiring this album I noticed this style is rare, maybe no other band in the christian scene plays it, they are a very talented band.
The Lyrics are 100% to the Christ's side, in their songs they talk about salvation, God and remind you that you can trust God no matter what. Most of the songs on this album are in Spanish, but it contains like 3 english songs, but the translation to the lyrics are in the official site of
the band. The production is average, nothing that disappoints you. The cover art is meaningful. I like it
a lot. Headbangers you should get this immediately!! You really NEED this!...

Covenant of faithfulness, HE is with us
forever.
