Recently this band has released what would be their debut material which is a demo containing 5 songs of furious and rare metalcore. Dekar
hails from Mexico, When I read the band's name
just by guessing I thought it was a thrash metal band, but just judging for the band name but I've been talking to David the
band member who performs vocals for the band, and he confirmed that what they play is metalcore and He sent in their demo to review. To be honest and seeing that the use of vocals is
pretty sick and goes shriek screamed, I can tell their music can fit in the metal realm. The demo starts off with the song: No Volvere Atras, this song is very creative, I like a lot the shrieks the
vocalist emmits. The second songis a decent song, the vocals still remains great, the guitar works are pretty nice, this band sometimes reminds me to Living Sacrifice but sometimes the guitars reminds me to System Of A Down (secular band). The third song Una Voz (One Voice) is where the band starts
playing really underground guitar riffs, fast drums and the bass goes very well executed here, by this song I can tell the band wants to throw themselves to something more extreme and brutal. The fourth song Sufrimiento = Vida is pretty decent, it is somehow similar to the second song, except here the band throw some
death growls. The last and final song Usa Toda su Fuerza starts with a bass intro, then the drums breaks through furiously fast, the the vocals/shrieks appears, nice song though. The lyrics are really christian based, the production is nice for being an self-released demo, it works perfectly with the genre these guys play. The cover art
features a really big city, nice cover art. If you have dig the music of bands such as: Living Sacrifice, Underoath (Old), Overcome, and Mortal Treason, you definitely should give an oportunity to this one!
