These guys play a genre known as Dark Metal, they have release this album called Song of sorrow, they are independent so they have no label support, which makes the production a little bit bad, but not at all.
This album contains 5 songs of pure Dark metal, where we can see very good use of keyboards which along guitars they give a dark ambient to the music, yet the drumming is not a thing to admire of in this album.
The first song: A bleakwail is a sorrowful song, with dark ambient, the guitars gives an special touch to this song, Then the silence of the guitars is interrupted by growls. And the drumming go a little faster. This is a nice song, but not the best of this album.
In Veni Sancte Spiritus which is the second song, we find death/doom metal vocals at the beginning, This song contains really Christ-centered lyrics!. I love the lyrics of this song, this probably could be the best song of this album, these guys also mix a little bit of Gothic to their song.
The third song which is the titled of the album, Songs of sorrow is just sang with clean vocals and it is a very slow song, but it is still a good song though.
Passionate Peace: This song rocks! This song is a really nice song, I like the intro of it, and the way the guitars are played in the whole song, This is a song to not get bored of, Also Death vocals are found in the middle of this song.
Liberation from Death: This song is probably the most aggressive of all, this song is real black metal, black metal drumming, guitars, shrieking, Yet it has a little bit of melodic parts in it, but they are beautiful. We can also find clean singing in this song .
Overall we got a nice album for those who are into black metal, Dark metal is almost the same stuff. This album is good stuff get it!.
