Hemathoidrosis is a black metal band from Santiago, Chile. It started on 2003, they haven’t release any material yet but we’ll be waiting. Most of the songs are sung in Spanish . I interview to Graggel who plays the bass and Death Metal vocals for the band.
 

Metalerosal: Can you tell us what Graggel means?

Graggel: Basically Graggel means nothing. One day I was ridding a bus and I ask the Lord for letters for my nick, then graggel come up to my mind and that's the idea how Graggel born.


Metalerosal: The band hasn't released any material yet, when you plan to release your material?

 Graggel: We haven't record anything so far, but so many times we were in a hurry to record, but God didn't see us ready to record, we tried many times, but every time it fails, until today we have put all this into the hands of God, and when the right time comes and God see us ready we can do it. It won't be poor, it will be in the same vein of any secular band, because we follow what God says not what our will but His.

Metalerosal: What is the message you bring us with Hemathoidrosis?

Graggel: War against Satan. How your life will be without God. In the moment Jesus get rid of our sins people return to them as the dog return to its vomit. We have a song called: CANNIS REVERSUS AD SUM VOMITUM, which is DOG WHO RETURN TO ITS VOMIT, we can find that in the bible.  MUNDO INFERNAL(INFERNAL WORLD), it talks about the day when Jesus come back and the two armies split up and that becomes a Massacre to those who rejected JESUS and obey SATAN THE BASTARD. We play a cover from VAAKEVANDRING which is FADER VAAR and a cover of an old band called:  AZETA (chilean trash) the name of the song is RESUCITO (RESURRECTED)
we got two more songs but we haven't named them yet.


Metalerosal: What the term Hemathoidrosis means?

Graggel: The meaning of the band's name we found it in: Luke 22
Luke 22:39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
Luke 22:40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luke 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was at were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Luke 22:45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.

 We call it like that because we try to understand it with our minds in a human and rational way. All the pain that Jesus suffer when he carried all the sins of mankind. Absorbing all our sins in the Cross of the Calvary by his redeeming sacrifice. That's why we call ourselves Hemathoidrosis.  By that of the '' sweat of blood'' that was scolded of Jesus .....This description coincides with a phenomenon very rare call Hemathohidrosis, that is attributed to highly emotional status, And it causes small hemorrhages in the sweat glands.

Metalerosal: When was the band formed? Which is the current line up?

Graggel: The band was formed in 2003 by me and the guitarist, in order to creating a band of black metal extremely aggressive, but always being a Christian band 100% the line up has not changed and the members are:

Metalerosal: Which are the influences of the band?

Graggel:  Our influences are so much Christian like secular, as for example in the secular influences they are: IMMORTAL, GORGOROTH, DIMMU BORGIR, ENSLAVED, EMPEROR, MAYHEM, BEHEMOTH, among others.     Our Christian influences would be:  VAAKEVANDRING, ANTESTOR, CRIMSON MOONLIGHT, LENGSEL, HORDE, SLECHTVALK, VIXIVI, SORROWSTORM among others.


Metalerosal: You and the vocalist got a meaning of their corpse paint can you give me an explanation of it?

Graggel: My corpse paint means: the scars that leaves the world to my life before being Christian.   the vocalist is the mouth is sewn and He does not say neither a single word before we rise to the setting because he want GOD to speak not him.


Metalerosal: Which are your goals for the next year?

Graggel: Being able to record a demo and to be able massify our music through tocatas ( that's the way we call to small concerts) and through our site and continue evangelizing and reaching lost souls and always keeping worship the Father which is our main goal.


Metalerosal: How do you classify the band’s sound?

Graggel: It a brutal black/melodic metal .
